This week I’m giving myself a break from the scale. The plan is to join WW on Sunday morning, where I’ll get weighed and begin a whole new eating program. This week I’m going to “take off” from any sort of structured plan – not going crazy with what I eat, but not yet counting [...]

Last Tuesday The Biggest Loser featured Rocco DiSpirito showing the contestants how to make healthy dinners on a budget.
The recipes looked really good, especially the mini meatball soup and the grilled chicken with warm mango salsa. The thing I liked about them, besides the fact that they were fairly easy to make, was that each [...]

Today at Book Club, AM told us about a great way she’s been fitting in exercise. She bought a mini-trampoline, also known as a rebounder, and does it when she watches t.v.
What a great idea!!! I’m going to buy one as soon as I get my summer grant money, which should be at the beginning [...]

Friday evening BFF called me to see how I was feeling, since she’d heard about the nasty cold I was fighting. Our conversation quickly shifted to exercising, which is something I haven’t been doing a lot of lately, especially since this lingering cold has really taken away my energy.
BFF recently bought a WiiFit, and was [...]

I’m sorry I missed last week’s challenge update. I’ve been struggling a little bit with this weight loss program. Not that I haven’t been sticking to it, because I have, but it’s been really difficult for me.
My weight loss total is now at 56.8 pounds, which is awesome!
I’m getting SO TIRED of the Medifast shakes. Ever [...]

Thanks to those who wrote or left comments, wondering where the heck I’ve been lately. I didn’t mean to disappear like that, I’ve just been busy with work and coming down with a cold that sapped all of my energy when I got home from school each day.
I’ve been following the weight loss program well, [...]

This week I made a breakthrough of sorts in my weight loss. I lost 2 pounds, for a total of 52.8 pounds gone.
I’m still struggling with working out now that school has started. I’m not able to go in the mornings anymore, since I get up at 5:45 just to get ready for school. After [...]

This past week I lost 1.4 pounds, for a total loss of 50.8 pounds.
I’m glad to finally be back to having lost over 50 pounds, but I wish my weight loss for the week would have been a bit bigger. The weight loss was more slight this week for several reasons:
I didn’t work out as [...]
