Goal Style. Each week I use Polyvore to put together looks that I hope to wear when I get to goal. They serve as inspiration and motivation, and they help me develop my own sense of style along the way. I enjoying working with thematic groupings, so if you have ideas of style themes for future fashion Friday posts, please put them in the comments.
This week’s featured Goal Style is centered completely around the bag that I found at Anthropologie. I love it. If I were Rachel Zoe, I’d die for it. I like it so much that I’m going to save up for it and buy it. The rest of the outfit just came together as things that would look good with the bag.
Although I do have to give a huge nod to the shoes, too. They’re awesome and weird and flat out A-mazing. Another little something that I’d like to save up for, but they’re probably something better left for my goal weight. I can’t image that my chubby feet would fit well in them right now. But that’s why this is “goal” style. Inspiration for the future.
I do love the shirt, too. It’s unique and different, yet still basic black. I could be dressed up or down. And the jeans? Those just look really comfy. Because I know one thing about my body and that’s that my thighs and my butt aren’t going anywhere, even at goal. There will always be lots of junk in this trunk, and that’s okay, because I love my curves. So, I’m never going to be squeezing into skinny jeans, and that suits me fine, because I like the look of a wider-cut jean on me anyway.
This outfit just makes me want summer to get here already!! Although, I shouldn’t complain, because we’ve been having pretty nice weather here lately.

Love the outfit! I also love that you built it around the bag! I do that all the time.
I just bought a shirt similar to that one at target! The shoes ARE a-maz-ing!
Great outfit – I have those jeans, and LOVE them
I can’t wear anything in the capri length (except workout pants I guess) w/o looking horrible, but I always like the way they look on paper. Love those shoes — very unusual!
I don’t think they’re really capris, I think they just rolled them up. Although, I have such short legs that I prefer capri length so that I don’t have to get the pants hemmed.
