Happy Monday, Everyone! I haven’t participated in a FMM in weeks, and I’m excited for this one. My weekend was so fun – I hosted a Father’s Day BBQ at my house, and we surprised my dad with an iPad! He was shocked and thrilled, and couldn’t wait to plug it in and play with it.
If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. If you’re new, please take a moment to answer this week’s question on your own blog then add your link in the comments section at: www.alltheweigh.com so we can all see your FMM questions and answers. Please invite your blog readers to add their links here too so everyone has to opportunity to be seen. The idea is to connect with other awesome bloggers so take a moment to post your own FMM post and comment on a couple of other posts. Now it’s time for this week’s topic!
FMM: What’s in Your Bag?
This week’s topic asks us to snap a photo of our bag and tell what’s inside of it. How fun is that?! I love seeing what other people carry around in their bags.
Bath & Body Works Shea Cashmere & Silk Hand Cream – love this lotion, especially because I have really dry skin.
Twirl by Kate Spade – I enjoy this ultra-feminine scent, especially when I go out at night. I have the large size on my vanity, too. I also have Daisy by Marc Jacobs, as Kenlie mentioned in her post, and I love that one because it’s a nice, light daytime scent.
Extra gum – I must have fresh breath!
Ralph Lauren sunglasses - I love their big, rounded cat’s eye/Jackie O shape and the way they protect my eyes, which are so sensitive to the sunlight. I bought these sunglasses about 4 years ago at Macy’s, which is a record for me – I usually lose my sunglasses each year. I think I love these so much that I couldn’t bear to lose them.
Kindle – I love having my books available, especially if I have to wait at the doctor’s office, like I do later today.
Sephora compact – for touching up my lipstick
Lipstick/glosses – Ok, I know that no one needs that many in their bag at once, but I like having options. I don’t use a makeup bag because the B. Makowsky bag has a large compartment that it all fits in. In case you’re wondering, those are lipsticks from MakeUp Geek ( in Delightful, Lovely, Innocent), two Buxom glosses (in Leslie and Dolly) – I love their “tingly” feel and the way they look over the lipsticks, two Sephora glosses (in Sangria and Bronze Beauty) – I can’t recommend these highly enough; they’re the best lip glosses!, Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Stick (in San Francisco) – I like this product because it’s got the wearability of a lipstick, but it has a bit of a shine to it, like a gloss.
Hair tie and clippy – because I need to be ready to pull my curls back if I want to put the convertible top down on the Beetle.
Checkbook & pen – I usually don’t use this antiquated method of payment, but last week I had lost my debit card, so I was rocking it old school. This little post reminded me to take the checkbook out of the purse.
Keys – I have so many keys – car, house (mine, parents’, sister’s), pool, locker room lock. I have my house/locker key on a little separate stretchy bracelet so that when I’m working out or walking Sofi, I just have the minimum needed hanging from my wrist.
Isaac Mizrahi wristlet – I love this little bag because I can have all of my cards and money in it and stow it in my larger handbag, or I can just slip it over my wrist if I want to go bag-free. The wristlet came as part of a larger 3-piece set with a huge tote handbag, medium crossbody bag (I can’t wait for this bag to look good on me when I use it, once I lose weight), and this wallet bag (QVC). I love Isaac!
Not pictured – iPhone (I used it to take this photo)
Now it’s your turn to share. Don’t forget to go back to Kenlie’s blog to link up in the comments!
