Bella’s 30-Day
Challenge is on!
Today I’m getting serious. No more of this pussy-footing around with the EA Sports Active game. Regardless of how much I hate it that the leg strap won’t fit my upper thigh, I’m going to do it.
Ever since I first figured out a workaround for the leg strap issue, I’ve been fairly inconsistent with my use of the EA SA (EA Sports Active is just too long to write). I’ve done it about 4 times, but just here and there, whenever I felt like it or had extra time on my hands.
That’s no way to run a 30-Day challenge! So today I started in earnest. and for 20 minutes, I pushed it full force. Even when I was getting tired of running in place for 2 minutes. Even when the damn thing wasn’t recognizing my lunges properly (the workaround isn’t perfect). And I loved it. I got sweaty and a bit out of breath, and I finished feeling energized and happy.
I like that the challenge seem to be 2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on, 1 day off and so on. It’s instilling that point about making sure to take rest days.
Will you join me in the 30-Day Challenge? (I’m sorry I don’t have any cool badge that you can put on your blogs. I don’t know how to make those, but if anyone else wants to make one for me, I’d love it!!).

i leave on sunday for two weeks but i’m back august 4th..hrm..a new excuse to buy a Wii game!

I’ll join you! I steamed through one 30 day challenge when I first bought EA Active, but I’ve been very lax about it now that I’m on my second challenge- I keep skipping several days at a time! I think I’ll reset my challenge goals and start again with you. I have to say, the leg strap drives me crazy.
Count me in! I got it about two months ago and have used it once. I felt it that one time too and don’t know what the deal was for why I’m not doing it consistently. Thanks for reminding me that it is time. I’m going to do the challenge with you!!!
I’m totally in, but I am starting next Monday! I’m excited that youre doing this lady! Have you tried a bigger piece of velcro?? That might work. Also I’ve found that I have to strap that thing on my leg pretty tight (aka sausage leg.)
I did try bigger velcro, but for some reason, I just couldn’t get it to stay up. It couldn’t go tight enough. This works, for now. I just CANNOT WAIT until the leg strap fits on its own.
Hi … this is a great idea. I am home visiting family and they have the game. When I get back to Cali … I am going to buy a Wii and do the 30 Day Challenge. I am excited.

I am actually about to start the 30 day challenge for the second time (the first time, I was on track and didn’t miss any days but around day 16 I moved and my Wii was packed for almost a week)
August 1st is going to be my start date for the 30 day challenge. And I am going to also start eating much healthier.
I work with children so I get tons of exercise throughout my 10 hour work days, but it’s not enough to help with the weight loss.
I am looking at losing almost 100lbs.
