Goal Style. Each week I use Polyvore to put together looks that I hope to wear when I get to goal. They serve as inspiration and motivation, and they help me develop my own sense of style along the way. I enjoying working with thematic groupings, so if you have ideas of style themes for future fashion Friday posts, please put them in the comments.
I can’t tell you how much fun I’ve been having creating these goal outfits each week. Especially when money is no object. Putting together these sets on Polyvore really helps me figure out what my own style will be once I can wear almost anything. So now I’d like to hear some suggestions from you – what should the themes be of upcoming Goal Styles? Leave your suggestion in the comments…
I’ve had a really relaxing spring break this week, and I used it once again as the inspiration for the title of today’s set. This week’s Goal Style features a really fun, spring dress that I would love to wear on a Saturday filled with lunch, shopping, and being seen. Since the dress has so much color, I kept the accessories neutral, opting for the straw bag and espadrille wedges.

I just learned about polyvore the other day! It is the coolest thing ever!!! I wish I could afford to buy everything on there!
Girl – I am so glad I checked your blog out today! I love this idea (and your outfit is amazing)! I can’t wait to check it out!
Thanks, Laura. I do these Goal Style posts every Friday. It’s so much fun to play with fashion and style on Polyvore.
Hi Bella.
I’m still reading your Blog regularly.
Love your spring choices although I’m not so sure I could handle those High wedges these days.
As I’ve been following for a while I wonder if you have thought about studying the low carb people. I know low carb isn’t too good for pizza and pasta lovers but it’s worth studying the science. I’ve recently been reading Fat Head. http://www.fathead-movie.com/ I think everyone should take a look at his writing and the links if they are serious about their weight and health.
It’s not that I think everyone should eat low carb, rather that we should all be aware that there are options to study and be informed.
Personally Low carb is the only way that works for me both physical and mental health-wise.I discovered this way through Lindora Clinics, California, and a book called Lean For Life. It’s not easy to go against USDA recommendations but I am so much happier doing this.
Do hope you feel inclined to take a look at Fat Head and some of his links and take a look at Lindora Clinics. There should be one in your area but just reading the books will make you think.
Blessings.
I’ve tried low carb, and I definitely lose more weight when I follow that type of diet. Thanks for the info on the books.
So cute. I’m loving all the bright colors and wedges for this spring. This outfit makes me want to head out to a spring picnic…please, oh please, sun, come out! 🙂
Love the idea of having a goal outfit! I’m glad you had a great and relaxing Spring break. 🙂 My Spring break is almost over (I go back to school this Monday.)..
