Goal Style. Each week I use Polyvore to put together looks that I hope to wear when I get to goal. They serve as inspiration and motivation, and they help me develop my own sense of style along the way. I enjoying working with thematic groupings, so if you have ideas of style themes for future fashion Friday posts, please put them in the comments.
This week’s Goal Style was inspired by a pin I found on Pinterest of a beautiful balcony in Greece. It immediately had me fantasizing about being on a romantic vacation with my future sweetie. We’d wake up early to catch the sunrise on the beach, and then come back to our room to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. If that doesn’t make a girl smile, I don’t know what would!
I would never usually choose a maxi dress, because I’m much too short to pull it off, but this one from Anthropologie came in petite, so when I’m at my goal, it just might work. Everything else just fell into place after that. And as always when it comes to the fashions I find on Polyvore, money is no object. I mean, this IS about fantasy, right? And this girl will never stop dreaming.
Ooh, love Santorini! We stayed on the side w/ no beach, but sunsets over the caldera… I like your beach/sunrise plan — guess I’ll just have to go back some day and stay on the other side!
Like the outfit but for some reason maxidresses never work for me…
I think it takes a fairly specific body type to really pull off a maxidress.
Where HAVEN’T you been? LOL. I love how well-traveled you are, and I will definitely come to you for advice on my next international trip (sometime in the distant future).
I think travel really is one of my top priorities in life. I was worried our main tv set broke on Monday (the picture was all screwed up in the morning and in the evening) and my first thought about buying a new one was that it was going to cost as much as a 3 day river cruise on the Yangze for one. And I’d rather go on the Yangze than watch tv!
