December 22 – Travel
How did you travel in 2010? How and/or where would you like to travel next year? (Author: Tara Hunt)
I didn’t travel at all in 2010. Sadly enough, I didn’t even go to the beach much. I did make it to SF a few times, and I went to Napa, but since those are local trips, I don’t really consider them traveling.
I really need to make up for lost time in 2011! Money permitting, I’d like to travel to:
- Vegas for my 40th birthday in July.
- Boston to visit CTLB (or, she can come here)
- Michigan/Chicago to visit my uncle. I’m hoping my sister & nieces can make the trip with me.
- I’d also like to take a road trip in the Bug. I’m envisioning somewhere coastal, so maybe north to Seattle? Who knows, maybe SeattleRunnerGirl and I can meet up.
And in the spring, summer, and fall of 2011, I want to take plenty of weekend trips to great local places:
- Half Moon Bay
- Santa Cruz/Capitola
- Napa/Sonoma
